Tues night: Big sigh of relief...

Finally got back into the momentum of doing assignments... *Phew*

For a while, I was worried that I'd never be able to start. Was kinda stuck and 'constipated' in that sense. Now at least I'm reading LeRoy Eims' book on 'The Lost Art of Disciple Making' (on which I'd have to do a 12-page reflection paper *cries*) and am finally UNDERSTANDING what I'm supposed to be understanding! Heeeeh! Discipleship isn't unfamiliar ground to me at all, having been involved in the student ministry back in EN Dublin...In fact, I'm pretty passionate 'bout it! However when I read through the book the first time, I was blur. Perhaps, at that time, my mind was pretty pre-occupied with the preparations for mission trip...and therefore, I couldn't really focus. Found alot of God's peace in my heart too, tonight. For that I'm really thankful!

It's a great book btw. I'd recommend this book to any church leader, pastor, or even anyone who is all sold-out for the cause of Christ. In that case, every Christian la!:D Hehe. We are all called to fulfill the Great Commission of Christ in Matthew 28:18-20 anyway... making disciples of all nations, baptizing them, and teaching them to obey the Lord. Relationship-based discipleship is compulsory!

Something else I'd like to give thanks for: the biggest, juiciest, sweetest kiwi fruits I've ever eaten - which came from Rachel's care package (plastic bag) of amazing fruits. (There were also fabulous plums inside, which totally rawked my world!) I'm grateful that I've almost never had to buy fruits for myself (can't remember the last time I bought fruits in the past year) - they were given to me in abundance by various people...and the Lord kept them coming non-stop. All that fibre, Vitamin C, and other good stuff that come in those small, juicy packages! :D Usually it's the apples and grapes... But in the past week, I've had plums come from 2 sources! What a treat! Thank You, God.

Above: scooping out the juicy flesh of the beautiful green wonder-fruit!

Paid Ai Hua a visit today after school. Lepaked a while at her place, watching telly and laughing loudly in her living room...(Ok, I admit we were a little crazy. How de-stressing!:D) till I had to go home (she lives just one road away from me). Am truly thankful for a classmate so close by. A very wacky one too...

Spent the rest of the day plonking-and-tonking on my piano, doing personal reflection, doing quiet-time, trying to get into my assignments (it was so hard!), laundry, minimal housework, making a card for someone, planning my schedule for tomorrow and talking on the telephone with a few beloved people. Holiday mood is slowly dissipating... at long last!

Hoping tomorrow will be a more fruitful day... and no.. I don't mean eat MORE fruits.

Pardon the lameness... :D
