Watched G.I. Joe last night. I did enjoy it - :)
Down with a stomach bug today...Looks like my tummy's finally rebelling from last week's extraordinary eats... :P Sigh...
Today I conquered another fear (although I won't mention what it was all about!) I tell you, the liberation feels so good! Praise God.
Just back from serving in Alpha. Thank God, I wasn't as nervous as I was last week! Last week, I could feel myself sweating bullets while leading!:P This week, everything went well, praise the Lord - I did not sweat bullets, I wasn't tachycardic or hyperventilating, I felt more relaxed and could worship God in my heart while I led. Indeed, the peace of God transcends all understanding. It empowers one to confidently do the things he/she would naturally be afraid of, putting whole-hearted trust in Him.
Mission team meeting went well yesterday. It was a great reminder to us to pray and be more prepared, seeing that there is going to be such spiritual warfare. Do keep my team in prayer... and please, keep me in prayer too. I feel terribly afraid sometimes when I think of the tasks on hand - the people I am going to speak to - and my limitations. But then again, I believe that God will make me adequate for His work. In need of more faith. We will be spending 3 days in a church in Sandakan (a town), and 3 days in the jungle.
I hope this will be my first mission trip out of the many more to come.
