Went out with Ther Chien, Leigh Lyn, Tu (Leigh's hubby) and Gabe (Leigh's adorable 2-year-old son).

It was an awesome meet-up, even though it was off our turf - i.e. in Penang! The pics are all with Leigh and TC... so I won't post them up till they tag me on Facebook.

We talked about what happened to all the people we knew from school in the 9 years following SPM. We talked about the people from our Christian Fellowship in those days... Sad and happy news...and we talked about people who weren't part of our CF, but gave their lives to Jesus after school. Amazing, amazing testimonies!

I watched Nightmare on Elm Street with Ben after dinner at this cheap and good Ramen place in Prangin Mall in the evening... It was horrifying @_@' - but I won't say that it got me spooked as much as some of the Japanese ghost movies I've watched. Like Dark Waters. Now... that was seriously creepy...I watched it twice in year 2002 (I think)... and both times, I screamed at the same parts... Anyway, about NOES, now I get what the kids in my primary school were saying about 'Freddy Krueger'... There used to be one movie like that in the past, I think - I just wasn't allowed to watch movies like that when I was little... Anyway, the other kids did... and we ended up playing running and catching games in the school compound... whereupon the kid who was 'Freddy Kruger' had to run around and tag the other kids.

I didn't like being Freddy Kruger...because I had no idea who he was. I just knew that I had to walk around with stiff, claw-like hands... and growl. Now, at least... it all made sense. Haha.
