The weekend's over...

Took some time off my assignments. The picture above was taken at the Esplanade...Friday evening. Somemore random pictures below...

This wasn't taken in the morgue. I know... the foot looks abit ugly... :D Woooops. Hehe. The color is natural...and not due to some weird lighting.

The bruising in my left foot turned abit bad - seemed like there was still quite some internal bleeding going on... the blood tracked along the fascia layer... and pooled underneath my lateral malleolus (ankle)... Walking's fine, except the foot gets a little 'unstable' at times. Strangely, it feels better wearing heels than flats! Probably, it has got something to do with shifting some body-weight from the injured section of the foot, to the fore-foot... @_@ Orthopaedic surgeons... you tell me... It is also tender to touch. Anyway, keep praying, guys!:) Hoping for full recovery soon.

Pureed/strained green apple and orange... made good comfort food :) - hope it benefitted my colon too @_@. Packed with lots of anti-oxidants, fiber, vitamins and good stuff...

...or maybe I liked it because it reminds me of how my mum used to feed me mushy stuff like that, when I was a kiddo...

After church on Sunday evening... The sermon on Revelations 3:14-22 really spoke to me today, btw.

Then my boyfriend and I had to travel to Butterworth (across the sea from Penang Island) for somebody's wedding reception... Long, tiring journey...

And someone's incessant cam-whoring... (not that I like to use that word! ~ Is there another?)

I was way, way under-dressed for the wedding reception. @_@ So embarrassing. But, I couldn't have worn a slinky dress to church, could I? Or done up my hair. Would have been way over-dressed for CHURCH. So I had no choice. It was awkward, but at least I was comfortable :P ~ since super-bloat hadn't exactly subsided, I would have looked fat in any fitting dress, and it meant that I could eat to my heart's content without worrying about my dress bursting at its seams.

So eat I did! :D

Well. A simple weekend for sure. I kept getting headaches, so I had little naps here and there.

Here's to a busy, packed week ahead!
