When we are weak, what could be better than to turn our eyes upon the Lord and cry out to Him for strength?
Yesterday, I thought, was a rather strange and depressing day. I was overwhelmed. Burdened. Stressed. Distracted. Restless. Exhausted after a whole day in school. Frightened almost at the sight of the massive pile of assignments in the middle of my living room. Unprepared to worship-lead at chapel service today. It did not help that it had rained the whole of yesterday!
Funny as it might sound, I even ate mi goreng from the mamak stall downstairs for dinner - which I don't normally do nowadays. At least, not on my own! :P My usual routines were messed up completely.
Today, the rain hadn't stopped! Not a bit. The day was still gloomy. I was still overwhelmed when I woke up in the morning.
But, something made a whole lot of difference. Prayers. Praying and crying out to God on bended knees. My friends and loved ones keeping me in prayer. Our worship team praying together before we led the congregation.
And things fell into place somehow.
The rain has stopped for the time being too.
Indeed, His mercies are new every morning. And today, I have definitely tasted the goodness and mercy of the Lord!
