My mind feels pretty woolly and worn-out after a whole week of intensive course, sleeping late, early mornings, maneuvering my car through traffic jams and etcetera. Thoughts as usual, flood my brain every minute - some I discard, some I ruminate on for a while, some I write it in my journal... but I find it difficult to remember the things I was thinking about, even a day ago ... apart from the things I have to deal with more urgently. Therefore, I've gotta apologize, folks... if my posts have been boring you lately :P ~_~
And I have... killer eye-bags! Way Sexyyyy.... NOT.
But... I have to say here - that it has been a blessed week, despite my weariness... because God has shown alot of grace and mercy to me. And I mean ALOT. Desperate prayers were answered (I'm serious! - especially during the 2nd half of the week) and not to mention the miracle that happened on Friday morning...
Uncle Wong got into a terrible road accident...and could have been killed (his brother died in the same accident some years ago) on the fast-lane of the Lebuhraya. His motorcycle got hit badly from behind by a car, and he got flung violently off the bike... Miraculously, there were no cars on the fast lane, and he was able to pick himself up. He escaped with no fractures... just abrasions and minor injuries. Praise God for protection - and the prompting to pray that morning, before he left for work. What's more... his wife also felt uneasy that morning, and was prompted to pray while he had left for work. Certainly the incident was a testimony to the both of them (as well as us), because they aren't believers yet. It is amazing how they did pray in faith to God whom they did not know well. Wow... I pray that Uncle Wong will fully heal from his injuries soon... and more importantly, may he and his wife continue to know the Lord more and more.
I nearly cried in class when I received a text message with the news that Uncle Wong was safe and sound. Thank God!
Motor-bike riders... please ride carefully on the road.
Watched 'Surrogates' on Friday evening with a loved one, at Prangin Mall - to celebrate the end of a hectic week... and I must say that although I found the movie rather freaky (nothing ghostly, no worries ~ it just reminds me of the mannequins-come-alive-in-shopping-centre nightmares I once had as a kid), I liked its plot and concepts. I would rate the movie 7/10.
Hm. Update on my injured foot. Very slow recovery. There are still bruising, aches and pains while I walk. I can't run or jump on it yet - so my exercise routines have been reduced to squats and upper body work-out in the comfort of my living room. Which I have been too busy (and lazy) to do recently... I've only exercised twice this week. Haha.
My verdict: I WILL NEVER WEAR SOCKS INDOORS AGAIN! ~ Especially where the floors have been scrubbed and polished till they shine... It is a recipe for disaster.
