A happier day. Sun was out too, compared to yesterday when it was all gloomy. Praise the Lord!
Alot of work to do, including preparing sermons and preparing to conduct a workshop on worship-leading for youth leaders. That's for the Sabah mission trip in August. Other than that - my many assignments. Many upcoming meetings and etc. Would really appreciate prayers.
Something that truly brought joy and peace to my heart today was watching 2 sisters, Ai Hua and Tracy play Japanese/Chinese native worship songs on the piano in our classroom (after we were done eating lunch - and we had some free-time to spare before the next class started). They sang to God in their beautiful voices too. Such childlike faith.
What is watching a jazz performance (one of my favourite concerts btw - other than orchestras and ballets) compared to watching a child of God putting the cry of a worshipful heart into a simple melody to be offered up to Him? What is the wonder of seeing the glory of costumes, a decorated stage and fancy lights ~ compared to the reverent posture of one caught up in his/her joyful devotion before the Lord?
Nothing.
