TGIM!

Had a busy weekend for sure. Yeah, like Monster said, TGIM. Thank God it's Monday = off-day!

I was so exhausted end of yesterday that I regret to say, I sat through the 3rd service with my arms propped up on the pew in front, so that I wouldn't fall asleep!:P Felt bad, but that was the only way of keeping awake. Couldn't wipe that blank, blur look off my face too, while I tried making sense of Pst's sermon. Hey I really tried, ok! It didn't help that the weather was blistering, glaringly HOT - that my facial skin pores felt like they were leaking oil and grease, enough to fry an egg... and perhaps some vegetables too. (OK, Pig said she was leaking pork lard onto the streets... sounds worse-case than mine, for sure!) As a result I kinda lost my smile :( - till, till...

...Ben and I went for dinner at Sakae Sushi for a treat (and my encouragement) last night, just so that we could rewind, eat soft-shell crab temaki (haha, that's not the only thing we ate ok - but that's our favourite thingy for sure - anything to do with the soft-shell crab!!!), sit down and spend some time with one another, chit-chatting. I truly thank God for times just like this, when we're more relaxed and more inclined to talk bout' loads of other interesting stuff, rather than our work stresses. I mean there's of course a time for pouring out our woes to one another... but hey, gotta appreciate times like this more - when we talk about the exciting things God's doing in our individual lives, discuss topics like health, history and other random stuff, be grateful for our dear friends, be grateful for one another, etc.  Hehe. After dinner, we did a little window-shopping before we hit home.

Then today, I wanted to sleep-in, but somehow, I just couldn't stay asleep. So I had to get up. For once!:)

Anyway, nothing's spoiling my mood for Monday. I've got many yummy books to finish reading.
