When blessings are tough to swallow...

We call exceptional things miracles, and we accept all good gifts as blessings. However, looking out for the divine patterns in our darker moments - this has got to be a spiritual discipline. Let us be loyal and consistent, never allowing our circumstances to take our eyes off the Lord, the hope of His sovereign appointed order and His promise of restoration for those who endure faithfully to the end. Trials test, humble our religious conceit and refine - subsequently strengthening the inner man - and bringing us the privilege to taste and see that the Lord is good. Behold His grace! Is that not something we should be thankful about?

Our God is an awesome God. Let us, His children, be faithful children. Trust Him.
